I consider this my greatest work to date, and one of my masterpieces. As in all of works, this is one of a kind.
The frame is intentionally chaotic at the end of the painting that represents chaos. The panels can each be moved left and right to separate the stages of devolution or to group them in any manner you see fit.
Chaos has long fascinated me… it was terrifying, and a little exciting, but a constant companion in my life. It seems my world is evolving at an accelerating pace with chaotic moments of becoming something else entirely. This work was done over several of the most chaotic years that swung from the worst to the best. I hoped by studying how order devolves into chaos, I might make friends with it, or at least understand how it works.
