We have to talk about this, Beautiful Souls. We have to talk about your power and whether you are giving it away to someone else. All summer I have heard people world over lamenting that some government agency or some specific individual in the news had taken away their power – their power to choose, their power to do one thing or another, their autonomy, their sense of safety, or some other thing that was theirs, but THEY took it away. No, they didn’t. Did you give it to them? Nope. Did you give them the power to choose for you? No, you didn’t. You have the power to decide what is right for you and take action, or to make yourself safe, or to craft whatever circumstances you want to. You see, power is given. If you don’t give it, they don’t have it. Your individual power to choose for yourself on anything and everything is yours alone. Sometimes we forget that. So take back your power of individual choice and have fun crafting creative alternatives to all the things that all the others say you ought to do or not do, be or not be. And spread the word to others who might have forgotten. This too is human. Your power never left you.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whew! OK, now that we got that out of the way, let’s see some divine power. Nasa’s James Webb telescope revealed its first pictures of the universe last month and they are really worth looking at. There is such detail and such a story in each. I am particularly enamored with the Southern Ring Nebula (Photo Credits: NASA, ESA, CSA, and STScI). It shows us a dying star 2500 years ago. It is our past and our future and out potential all wrapped up in one picture. It is our past as the light is 2500 years old. It is our future, as my shiva pointed out, because our own sun will end its life looking just like this. And it is our potential, because of the epic 20 year effort it took a group of human beings to design, build, test, launch, position and prepare this amazing instrument. Having had a career as a technology program manager, I am IMPRESSED. This was so well executed. It shows you how we as a species are driven to see our source, to know more and to be more. It seems the volume of these things are increasing as time goes on. TV and headlines are there to keep you distracted, angry and fearful – spending your time and your thoughts on these things. Beauty standards and status symbols are there to keep you focused on unworthiness and to keep you poor – spending your money on these things because you are not good enough just being you. If I wanted to keep you from realizing your power and using it, I would need to keep you from using your thoughts, your time and your money on that realization. If I wanted to control you and make sure you don’t take back your own power, I would need to keep you poor, unhealthy, distracted, and focused on negative emotions. Hmmm. Why would anyone want to suppress you like that? Because if you find your truth, you will realize that you are powerful beyond measure. If you find your truth, you will remake this world. If you realize your potential, you will be wholly ungovernable and uncontrollable and free. What a world that would be. What in your world today is keeping you from the truth of your divinity, and the boundlessness of your power to remake reality? For me, it is too late – I am seated in my boundless power, undistracted, focused on love and light and remaking this world – wholly ungovernable and uncontrollable and free.
