As this painting creates itself through me, I am learning patience and cooperation. I keep thinking that it should be done now, and the painting patently disagrees. It keeps asking for more detail here and more color over there, etc. At the start of each session, I think this will be the session where we finish. It is not. I argue a bit with the painting consciousness to consciousness and it wins every time, because I am here to serve its birth into creation, not to serve my own opinion. You see, I do not make art. I channel art. It comes through me to be created. It comes first as an idea and then it takes over my hand to make itself real. The upside is that really incredibly cool things result. The downside is that I cannot tell you how I made them, and I cannot make another copy of it. I cannot even tell you what colors I mixed to get that particular color that I loved so much. Somehow, it is more than worth it. Painting is a very cathartic activity for me, probably because I let my own consciousness go and join with the one. Any activity that lets you do that will feel wonderful!

Speaking of consciousness, check out this Ted Talk while I get back to painting…

Consciousness – The Final Frontier (https://youtu.be/lo0X2ZdElQ4) – Supports Stages 9-10.
