An actual pallet full of parts awaited her at the lifts, where the experts of experts will build her a brand new air suspension and fix a dozen or so other small issues underneath. It\u2019s a major spa treatment! What a difference it will make for safety and stability. Meanwhile we are in the coolest secret small town within a big town, taking a break to prepare a suite of yoga videos for the stages and procuring all the gear for the new mobile ashram \/ studio. The design was just finalized, everything put on order, and the structure and all of its gear are due in next week. The mobile studio will make its debut at our next tour stop in April, in the US Southeast!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Why make a mobile studio? Our original plan was to just join in at, borrow or rent other people\u2019s studios and spaces in each town as we tour. While that is still sometimes an option, sometimes it is not. For example, in Texas, most studios were surviving, but not yet open for in person classes, when we were there. In Natchez MS, there used to be several yoga studios, but the economic devastation of last year had wiped them all out. In our current town, several yoga studios survived 2020 but are so barely clinging to survival that they are not allowing outside teachers or workshops, opting instead for in house group classes, which is where the money is. I completely understand. They have a lot of lost revenue to make up. But meanwhile, people are awakening and taking the journey. They find me. They ask if they can do yoga with me. They meditate with me. They ask for Reiki sessions. We talk and we pray. So I am building a studio of my own, right there by the bus, for everyone and anyone who wants to come.
