Some specify that it might be our subconscious thoughts. But I have noticed that my external reality seems to more reflect more of my spiritual state of being, and less of my human thoughts. For example, when I was reading Women Who Run With Wolves, I was deeply affected by its themes of wolves, death and feminine powers. I was brought to that book by a message and vision during a meditation. And and my subsequent meditations as well as my external world offered up wolf encounters, dead animals, and other experiences to support the lessons. Life is a school, for certain, and my external experiences seem to support the spiritual lessons at hand. There is a difference between thoughts in the human consciousness, sometimes called the small self, and thoughts in the subconscious, or the god consciousness. My human thoughts are thoughts about my external world. They shape my emotions, which are indicators of the subconscious beliefs we hold. So it seems that the god consciousness serves up spiritual lessons by shaping my external world. Then my human consciousness reacts to those lessons, shaping my subconscious beliefs. As the spiritual lessons are internalized as evolved beliefs, the next lesson is served up and the external world evolves again. That would suggest that we don’t really have any control over our external reality. But the human thoughts shape the subconscious beliefs that trigger the reshaping of the external world. It’s a chicken or egg mentality. Does the god consciousness alter our world to change our thoughts or does the human consciousness change our thoughts to alter the world? Yes. Both. It is an endless cycle of reality – thoughts – beliefs – reality – thoughts – beliefs – reality… We can control our human thoughts and subconscious beliefs and therefore our reality. We cannot evade the spiritual lessons that we have signed up for in this school of life, but we can perhaps learn the lessons in more pleasant and enjoyable ways. Certainly, what I am reading seems to shape my thoughts, beliefs and external reality in very short order. Especially stories. So I wonder, can I write a story, or find stories that would shape my reality in desirable ways? It’s something to think about and try.

A reflective essay proposing that external reality mirrors one’s spiritual state more than surface thoughts, exploring the cycle between human consciousness, subconscious beliefs, and lived experience, and wondering whether deliberately chosen stories can reshape one’s reality.

[5
44,1419,864,540,1625,1926,1781,357,1005,1003,1481,944,934,1454,1460,1002,43,1929,1927,865,371,879,354,1006,355,1004,372,358,1589,1928
post-3561","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-diary","tag-art","tag-business","tag-complete-connection","tag-connection","tag-consciousness","tag-consciousness-mastery","tag-couples","tag-cycle","tag-cycle-of-human-development","tag-finding-peace","tag-global-peace","tag-human-development","tag-kathryn-colleen","tag-lasting-peace","tag-lastingpeace-org","tag-life-optimization","tag-music","tag-personal","tag-podcasts","tag-purna-asatti","tag-religion","tag-roadmap","tag-seeing-yourself","tag-self-mastery","tag-self-development","tag-self-improvement","tag-spirituality","tag-stages","tag-understanding-people","tag-writing
For readers curious about how subconscious beliefs shape the reality they experience, this piece offers a grounded, personal map of the thought-belief-reality cycle.
