An increasing number of people are having spiritual experiences. How could I know that? Because they are coming to me to talk about it. Why? Because we have produced a society where people do not feel that they can talk about their experiences. And that stifles their ability to be mentored in their spiritual development. We label it woo-woo or fringe, when in fact, it is quite the opposite. I challenge you. Have you never had an experience that you cannot explain? Have you never felt the comforting presence of a long lost grandparent or friend? Have you never thought about a friend just as they were thinking of you, and called each other or texted each other? Have you never dreamed about something that later happened? Have you never been immersed in serendipitous circumstances that changed the direction of your life? Have you never just known something? The human heart and mind and body and energies are so much more vast and capable than we give them credit for. In some societies, energy work and shamanism are so commonplace that NOT having a shaman to consult with or NOT having an energy healer in the family is strange. I believe we all have latent capacities that can be developed. As I mentor people through their personal and spiritual development, I have noticed that intuition becomes keen and with it, several gifts. Like humanity itself, gifts are many and wide ranging. Some uncover gifts for herbalism, psychedelic experience guidance, intuitive guidance, energy work, healing, knowing, seeing, or hearing the words of guides or the divine itself. This is not at all minority. When my gifts first started developing, my own mother shared with me, \u201cOh, sure. I can XXXXXX [redacted for her protection]. And your grandmother could too.\u201d She said that like it was no big deal. It would have been useful to know that when I was young, and maybe get some mentorship. Better late than never. But in that story, you see how two generations had to turn into a third before one of three women were able to use their gifts openly without persecution or social ostracism. It\u2019s getting better. Today we have gifted souls like Paul Selig and others who are not just helping people directly but helping humanity at large feel comfortable sharing their gifts as they emerge.
