Meanwhile, we have a lot of time on our hands. It’s quite a show to watch us try and figure out what to do with it. We are spending a lot of time in coffee shops. Creativity and intellectual pursuit is returning. And along with it, a renewed focus on my larger mission. My students – the roots of the tree of peace that I am called to nurture are reaching advanced stages quickly. I am focused now on what is next. Their lives are being transformed in short order and their future is open to amazing possibilities. I am finally able to get my mind off the house and back on to my mission of global peace, one person at a time. What do I need to be for them now? It’s a great joy to be refocused on the mission. The ease of which reminds me that everything is as it should be. The house will sell, my youngest son will graduate and be happily off on his own, everything is in motion and nothing else needs my attention. The mission is what matters – global peace in 32 steps. The roots are what matters. Peace and joy are what matters. This shift in perspective came rather suddenly; a gift from the divine. My mind was eased and my focus reset. I can only imagine how hard my guides must work and what a laugh I give them. I must be great entertainment. But what a gift they have given me: a swift kick in the rear to get back to work and the mental peace to do it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

A short diary reflection on emerging from the stress of keeping a house show-ready and refocusing attention on the author’s larger mission of global peace, nurtured one student at a time.

[5
1481,206,1460,314
post-2356","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-diary","tag-global-peace","tag-guides","tag-lastingpeace-org","tag-mission
A brief, grounding read for anyone who has lost focus amid life's logistics and wants to return to what truly matters.
