The following is a list of great questions that I have collected over the years…. they are a great way to help focus your mind on self-development and life integration. Give them a go! But just a few at a time….. they can be overwhelming!

What is the truth? (painful or otherwise)

What did you want to be when you were 5, 15, 25, 35, ….? Why?

What do you wish you had the nerve to do?

Break down how you are spending your time… does your day reflect these priorities?
How do you spend your hours?
Is that getting you where you want to be?
How much of your day do you spend going over the past or worrying about the future? (note: planning and taking action toward the future is not worrying.)
What life rules or philosophy could you write down to guide yourself to have better perspective and/or make better decisions?
Who can mentor you?
Where can you find mentors? (career, spiritual, personal, etc)
What worries you most about the future?
How can you accept, prepare for and/or mitigate that?
Can you make it irrelevant?
To what extent have you actually controlled the course of your life to to today?
What do you wish you had done differently?
What were your biggest mistakes?
How can you avoid making those mistakes again?
What do you need to do now to admit to and resolve the mistakes that are still affecting your life?
Can you return to a point when you were truly yourself on your own path and pick up where you left off?
What experiences shaped you (good and bad)?
Can you thank them for shaping you and see that these experiences are not you?

Say your name to yourself, in your head… who said that? Who heard that? How can you speak without speaking and hear what makes no sound?
If you are not this body… what are you?
If you are not this mind… what are you?
What if you did the opposite… the opposite of what others have done? The opposite of what everyone thinks is the normal way or the right way?
Who are you trying to be like? Why is it not you? What would you do differently or the same to be more like YOU?
What do you believe that most people would think is crazy?
What is the difference between surviving, existing, and living?
What would you most like to change about the world?
What does it mean to be human?
If you look into the heart of your enemy… what would you find? How did it get there?
Which of society’s rules are wrong?
What is “peace” to you?
What is comforting to you?

What are you settling for? (there is a difference between accepting your current reality and settling)

Have you ever made mistakes? What are you ashamed of? Have you hurt people in the past? Can you forgive your humanity?

Where should it be going?
What could you do if you had no debt payments?
Looking back, how far have you come?

What can you do to support yourself in stopping these behaviors?
What is your “tell” that you are swimming in your baggage? (crying, yelling, etc)
What story can you tell that includes, “… and something in me said…” and it changed your life or saved it? Who was speaking to you?
