Aloe

[2013. Pencil on paper.] A sketch of a large aloe plant high on the highest hill in St. Maarten. It seemed enormous to me at maybe 5-6 feet tall, set against a stone wall. The seen stuck with me, so I had to study it further by sketching it out.
