What a time to be alive! I have been working for months now to try and influence the crypto bills that we just saw pass in the House this month. I am happy to say I got a lot of what I wanted. And what I wanted was what is right to protect crypto users AND what is right for Geode to give this project the greatest possible advantage. Things are looking very good. Over the next few months, I will be doing what I can to make it all move forward in the Senate and the rest of the process (back to the House, etc). The CLARITY act, and HR1664 are important for blockchain projects in the US, and I am looking forward to seeing them all enacted!
I get pushback sometimes for working with the current and previous administrations, but here is the important lesson: you cannot change a system from the outside. You have to work with and within the system you have, to create the systems you want to have. We did the same with the last administration and we will continue to do the same with any administration in the future, regardless of ideology.
Why? Because Geode is here to create new systems, a new economy, new jobs, new ways to earn, and new ways of living and creating. And that mission is more important than any current political stance anyone might have.
I will go more into detail on the importance of these bills after we get them into law. Until then, know I am working for YOU, for Geode and ultimately for peace through freedom.
