I recently indulged in a super seven, or melody stone, bracelet from a reputable crystal shop in Herndon, Virginia. I was perusing the shop, looking for a mala. I hoped to find one that spoke to me and supported my mission of world peace and connection. I found an amethyst mala and it was beautiful, but it was not a perfect energy match. Something in my gut said keep looking. I wanted an intuitive match. By divine intervention, I found a little unassuming basket of super seven bracelets. Super seven (a stone that naturally includes seven specific crystals of amethyst, quartz, smokey quartz, and others), had not entered my awareness before this moment. But I was completely taken with the look and vibe of the bracelet. I thought it would be beautiful and inspirational to wear. I put it on and we went to the coffee shop a couple of blocks away for some chill time. Within about ten minutes, the arm that was wearing it was lit up with magnified energy. I am almost always channeling energy but this was so pronounced that I was distracted by it. The effect went up my arm and lit up my crown chakra and mouth of god chakra. Yes!! This was amazing! I have played with other stones, including clear quartz for Reiki grids, amethyst for chakra work and others. I have never had a result like this. Why? I suspect that there is a stone for each of us and that this stone – Super Seven, Sacred Seven or Melody Stone – happens to be a perfect match to my mission on this earth, to my energies and how I use them. Is it psychosomatic? I wasn’t expecting anything. I just thought it was beautiful and inspirational and that it had a nice vibe that drew me to it. But holy F*@K! This is my stone. It amplifies my energies and opens my chakras in a profound way. Will it do that for you? I don’t know. I would say that you should experiment with different stones that might promote your current efforts, whatever those may be. Seek out good references for which stones do what, choose some that might support your current goals, and hold them in your hand for at least ten minutes. See what they do for you.
