Creating is a ton of fun. I make books, music, art, poetry…. that’s all great but at some point, if you want your message to get out there, you have to publish it. That means getting that book out there on Amazon, Kindle and iBooks, and getting that album out on almost 100 services worldwide. Packaging, formatting, editing, proofreading, re-editing, getting feedback, re-re-editing, picking codes and categories, writing marketing descriptions… it’s like childbirth. It takes a lot longer than it should, it’s hard, it’s painful, the last few months of it suck so freaking much, but in the end, you have this beautiful precious thing that is brand new to the world. And you forget the pain… until next time.
